Developed for the practitioner who prefers a live-learning environment, License Renewal programs offer 12 hours per weekend, a variety of subject matter, and package or single session pricing. Utilizing the Iowa Communications Network this series of programming is a convenient option for those practitioners across the state of Iowa and those in neighboring states near an ICN location. PalmerOnline
Distance learning options are more popular than ever, and now with over 80% of state boards* accepting online learning for relicensure the convenience factor of web-based courses is undeniable. *Approvals vary per state board. Boards may limit the number of online hours licensees may earn toward license renewal. Please visit the PalmerOnline page for a list of courses, technical requirements, and course access.
Post-Graduate Programs
Post-graduate options lead to certification or diplomate status in a given specialty area. Certificate programs are typically 100-120 hours, and diplomate programs consist of 320-360 hours. After completion learners earn examination eligibility through the specific specialty examination body.
