The inaugural Dr. David D. Palmer Athletic Trust Symposium will be held Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24, at the DoubleTree Hotel Campbell Centre, Dallas, Texas. The Symposium benefits the Dr. David D. Palmer Athletic Trust and includes continuing education courses on both days.
The event will feature three speakers, including:
- Scott Haldeman, D.C., M.D, Ph.D., on research developments
- Gerry "Red" Provance, D.C., CCSP, on extremity adjusting
- Fred Schofield, D.C., on clinical and practice principles
All speakers are donating 100% of their fees to the trust.
Up to 12 hours of continuing education credit through the Palmer College Continuing Education and Events Department will be available, with most states applied for certification. Continuing education classes will be from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday, March 23, followed by a cocktail reception at 6 p.m., and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 24.
Rugby action on March 24 from 12:30 to 6 p.m. will feature matches at Glencoe Park with the Palmer College Men’s Rugby Team vs. the Dallas Harlequins, and the Palmer College Women's Rugby Team and Men’s B Team against local Dallas teams.
The event will wrap up Saturday evening with a Palmer banquet at the DoubleTree, featuring a good old fashioned Texas barbeque. You get 12 CE hours for just $389 (reception and banquet are additional), plus the opportunity to support Palmer students and athletics at the College.
