Assistantships and Tuition Wavers: All admitted students will be
expected to teach anatomy for at least one year. A tuition waiver and/or
a Teaching Assistantship may be awarded to a student admitted to this
Master of Science in Anatomy, based upon merit. Assistantships and
tuition wavers are awarded for one year, under the condition of
maintaining good academic and research progress toward their degree.
Continuing support is not guaranteed. Evaluations are conducted each term
of the award. These evaluations, considered together with the academic
and research progress of the student, are basis for awards made in a
subsequent year. Students awarded a Teaching Assistantship will complete
an apprenticeship during their first term of residency and should attend
each term and MUST register for one credit hour of Colloquium in College
Teaching in the fall trimester of their second year of a continuing
Teaching Assistantship.
