Iftikhar Bhatti, M.S., Ph.D., who served
Palmer’s Davenport campus for nearly
30 years, died Thursday, Dec. 22, in
Bettendorf, Iowa. Most recently he was
dean of Undergraduate Studies, associate
director of Research and professor
of Anatomy.
Dr. Bhatti, taught at several colleges before joining the Palmer
College of Chiropractic faculty in 1976 as an associate professor
of Anatomy. He became a professor of Anatomy in 1977 and
also served in many administrative roles at the College.
He was a staunch supporter of Palmer College, whose employees
and students he considered to be like his family. Dr. Bhatti was
a current and founding member of the Palmer President’s Club.
His wife, Judy Bhatti, M.S., D.C., is an associate professor in the
Undergraduate Studies Department.
