Continuing education available through Palmer
College serves alumni and the chiropractic profession
nationwide via Palmer’s three campus sites and at various
locations throughout the country. Offerings
include license renewal seminars, post-graduate
specialty programs, online courses, speakers bureau
co-sponsorships with alumni and state organizations,
the multidisciplinary Nutrition Symposium and
select community events.
Palmer’s lifelong learning opportunities serve to
extend the educational experiences that are provided
on the Palmer campuses and to support practicing
chiropractors in every stage of their professional
development. In addition to license-renewal seminars
specific to each campus, continuing education offerings
include hundreds of seminars nationwide via
sponsored events and co-sponsorships through the
Palmer Speakers Bureau.
“Our Speakers Bureau is perfect for state associations,
alumni groups and other chiropractic organizations
looking for a streamlined solution to present quality
programming for their members,” said Director of
Continuing Education Laurie Mueller, D.C.
“With a minimum number of registrants, we can bring
license-renewal or specialty programming to an organization’s
backyard, handle all logistics and give money
back to the organization to help build their treasury,”
said Dr. Mueller. “If the association has a group of
people ready to learn, we have the capabilities to bring
our quality programs to any location desired.”
For doctors interested in expanding their expertise in
a specific topical area, specialty studies are available
in topics such as pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology,
philosophy and sports. Many of these specialty options
feature an online learning component in addition to
live sessions. This feature saves participants time and
expense away from home and office. For more information
