’96, Calgary, Alta.,
Canada, completed
the Chinook Half
Ironman Triathlon
held in Calgary on
June 23. The annual
event raises money
for youth charities
and other social
organizations. Dr.
McAllister devoted
her fundraising
efforts to the American Heart Association in
tribute to her brother, Trent, who died at age
37 from a heart attack following problems with
atrial fibrillation.
