The Florida Campus graduated its
ninth class on June 13 at the News-
Journal Center in Daytona Beach.
Twenty-seven students received
their Doctor of Chiropractic degrees
during the graduation convocation,
which featured a commencement
address by John Lockenour, D.C.,
DABCO, Davenport ’77, Florida
Campus assistant professor.
The awards for class honors were
presented by Peter Martin, D.C.,
Davenport ’68, president of the
Florida Campus, and Donald Gran,
D.C., M.S.Ed., Davenport ’78, dean
of Academic Affairs. The class valedictorian
was Adam R. Sainato, Pa.;
the salutatorian was Damon Carl
Blackley, N.C.; the Virgil V. Strang
Philosophy Award was presented
to Casey S. Means, Fla.; and the
Clinical Excellence Award was presented
to Philip A. Afghani, Fla.
