On Wednesday, June 18, the Florida Campus hosted
members of the Daytona Beach/Halifax Area Chamber
of Commerce during a breakfast meeting held on
campus. Florida Campus President Peter Martin,
D.C., Davenport ’68, welcomed the group and presented
an overview of the College, highlighting the
excellent relationship Palmer College enjoys with
the community and area chambers, and the positive
impact the College has on the local economy.
Also representing the campus that day were
Edward Pappagallo, D.C., Davenport ’85,
Outpatient Clinic; Kim Amendola, Admissions;
George Bertish, Institutional Support; and Ted
Nikolla, Marketing and Public Relations, who
coordinated the event.
Each quarter throughout the year, members of the
Chamber visit a college campus in Volusia County
to help build and strengthen relationships with the
higher education community.
“The Daytona Beach/Halifax Area Chamber is very
grateful to Palmer College for their hospitality today
and their ongoing partnership with the Chamber.
They are, indeed, an asset to our community,” said
Jim Cameron, senior vice president of Government
Relations & Community Development.
