The Florida Campus graduated its 10th class at 2 p.m. on Friday,
Sept. 26, 2008, at the News-Journal Center in Daytona Beach.
Thirty-nine students received their Doctor of Chiropractic degrees
during the graduation convocation, which featured a commencement
address by Assistant Professor John Lockenour, D.C., DABCO.
The class valedictorians were Jason Verl Fielding and Aaron Joseph
Martin. The salutatorian was Nathaniel Luke Puyau. The Virgil V.
Strang Philosophy Award was presented to Daniel Patrick Assion,
and the Clinical Excellence Award went to Dara Lynee Salzano.
Those receiving President’s Scholars Awards (students who have
made the Dean’s List every quarter) included: Heidi Renae Black,
Jason Verl Fielding, Dan Kay, Aaron Joseph Martin and Nathaniel
Luke Puyau.
