Jeff Miller, D.C., a prolific writer who
has published more than 100 articles in
28 different periodicals, has published
his third chiropractic textbook. His
latest book, “Practicing Chiropractic:
Lessons and Observations from Private Practice,” includes tidbits
of collective wisdom and practical knowledge gleaned from Dr.
Miller’s years in practice.
The book is divided into eight sections: Getting Started,
Procedures and Paperwork, Marketing, Patient Evaluation,
X-Rays, Patient Education, Patient Care, and Potpourri, and
received a very favorable review in the Sept. 14 issue of
Dynamic Chiropractic.
Dr. Miller, an assistant professor at Palmer Florida since April,
graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Davenport
campus in 1987. He was drawn to chiropractic as a teenager
after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.
A proponent of continuing education, Dr. Miller is a diplomate
and fellow in Chiropractic Orthopedics and has received
certification in Utilization and Peer Review. He also is a certified
strength and conditioning specialist, personal trainer and
chiropractic sports physician.
