Forty-two graduates received their Doctor of
Chiropractic degrees at West’s Winter Quarter 2006
commencement, held March 10, in the theater
of the Santa Clara Convention Center.
Valedictorian Joyce Woodworth and salutatorian
Danielle Custode both graduated Magna Cum Laude,
as did Travis Ratledge and Melissa Windsor. Rachman
Chung, Kristi Holder, Jereme Marchall, Timothy O’Leary,
Tikisa Primes, Jennifer Reiner and Kevin Solari graduated
with Cum Laude honors. Clinical Excellence honors
were presented to Kelly Polzin for the Tasman Clinic
on the San Jose campus, and to Tikisa Primes, for West’s
Santa Clara clinic. The recipient of the Virgil V. Strang
Philosophy Award was Ti Pence, while Kelly Polzin
received the Student Fellow Award.
Arlan Fuhr, D.C., co-founder of the Activator Methods Chiropractic
Technique and president of the National Institute of Chiropractic
Research, presented the commencement address.
