William Ripley, D.C., ’51, recently placed his charcoal drawing of B.J. Palmer in an art show in Whiting, N.J. Dr. Ripley originally made the sketch of his instructor in 1950 based on a portrait on sale at the Bookstore on the Davenport campus. Later, while Dr. Ripley assisted B.J. at a book signing for “The Bigness of the Fellow Within,” B.J. commented that he liked the portrait, then signed and dated it, too.
