Dr. David Skyba
Florida campus faculty member
David Skyba, D.C., Ph.D., and
two colleagues published an
article titled “Excitatory Amino
Acid Concentrations Increase in the Spinal Cord Dorsal Horn
after Repeated Intra-muscular Injection of Acidic Saline” in the
December 2005 edition of the peer-reviewed journal Pain.
The experiments detailed in the paper focused on transient
and long-term neurochemical changes in the spinal cord that
occurred in a model of chronic muscle pain.
