Noted chiropractic researcher, author,
professor and expert in chiropractic and
neurology Scott Haldeman, D.C., M.D.,
Ph.D., Davenport ’64, is currently leading
the Bone and Joint Decade 2000-
2010 Task Force on Neck Pain and Its
Associated Disorders.
The results of the task force’s work since
its inception in 2000 were published in
a special supplement to the journal
Spine earlier this year.
Alumni have the chance to hear about
this study on Aug. 8, during the Davenport
Campus Homecoming when Dr.
Haldeman will be presenting “The
Establishment of Cultural Authority on
Spine Related Disorders: The Results of
the Bone and Joint Decade 2000-2010
Task Force on Neck Pain and Its
Associated Disorders.”
Dr. Haldeman is a clinical professor in the
Department of Neurology, University of
California at
Irvine. He serves
on numerous
editorial boards,
and is an accomplished
author, having published numerous
articles and textbooks.
