Palmer College joined Blue Cross, Kaiser Permanente, the
Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and other prominent healthcare
leaders in the Silicon Valley on Nov. 8 as major sponsors
of the Go Well! summit, presented by the San Jose Chamber of
Commerce.
Several dozen Silicon Valley healthcare professionals attended
the event at the San Jose Marriott Hotel which was designed to
provide local companies with information and resources to help
reduce the estimated $180 million attributed to lost productivity
and common health conditions.
In addition to meeting with representatives from various healthcare
institutions and organizations, guests also had the opportunity
to hear a panel presentation with the common theme of effective
ways for companies to foster employee wellness programs.
