As a collective group, the three Palmer
College of Chiropractic libraries hold more than 85,000 books, journals,
audio-visual material, models, charts, and archival items. The
libraries also provide access to hundreds of electronic journals,
letting faculty and students keep up-to-date with the profession. The
library catalog is online and contains the holdings of all three
campuses. Patrons can access their account online and see due dates as
well as place items on hold that are not available.
The
Davenport and Florida campus libraries have reserve desks with material
selected by faculty to support the College’s curriculum. The Davenport
campus Special Collections and College Archives consist of the most
comprehensive chiropractic historical resource in the world.
Chiropractic, osteopathy, homeopathy, and other non-drug and
non-surgical health sciences materials are collected and are available
for in-house use. Each campus library has computers and wireless
internet access for studying and also provides individual and group
study space.
