On the road with Admissions: Wisconsin
The Freight House Restaurant in La Crosse, Wis., was a hopping place on Nov. 12. Sixty-one people took part in the prospective student dinner hosted by Admissions Representative Ellen Bassler (Davenport Campus). Ms. Bassler has held this event annually for six years, and this was the largest crowd yet.
Skip Wyss, D.C. (Davenport), a former Campus Guide, was the alumni speaker for the evening. Other speakers included Ron Boesch, D.C. (Academic Health Center), and Vanessa Ransom, a current student and Campus Guide.
“I was a very successful event, and we already have three applicants from the dinner,” said Ms. Bassler.
Said prospective student Kyle H., “I enjoyed the dinner at the Freight House very much. I really enjoy hearing about my future profession, everyone’s stories and experiences. I’ve been extremely excited about my decision with chiropractic, and the stories of experiences heightened that. I really can’t wait to start school … and I’m also very excited to play on one of the best rugby teams in the nation.”
