Palmer's academic affiliation with a new healthcare facility

3/23/2012 (Archived)

Julie Schrad, D.C., Senior Director of Clinics Administration, is pleased to announce that Palmer College of Chiropractic has established an academic affiliation with a healthcare facility* at a large Army base in Virginia where Dr. Roger Gage, a 1982 Davenport graduate, is the staff chiropractor. The facility is part of an integrated, national capital region healthcare network providing world-class medical service to the nation's wounded, active duty service members, retirees and family members.

Chiropractic healthcare services are provided by Dr. Gage through the hospital’s Surgical-Orthopedics and Rehabilitation Department. Dr. Gage expects to begin accepting Palmer student interns as soon as this summer. With this latest affiliation, Palmer College now has 12 academic affiliations with staff doctors of chiropractic at 12 Department of Defense and Veteran’s Affairs facilities.

*Due to Palmer's agreement with the Department of Defense military training facility, as an affiliating institution we are not able to use the healthcare facility's name in any publicity or advertising media.
