Counselors from Puerto Rico visit Florida Campus

More than 20 school and guidance counselors from Puerto Rico visited Palmer’s Florida Campus on June 6. The trip was arranged through AutopistaAMERICAS. AutopistaAMERICAS, Inc. is an academic corporate consulting firm, which has initiated and sustained partnerships between higher education institutions and corporations for over 25 years. For the past 19 years, AutopistaAmericas has conducted tours for guidance counselors to more than 500 different colleges and universities. These counselors are selected on the basis of awareness and interest in working with American universities. These tours are managed and coordinated by AutopistaAmericas in conjunction with Rampolla Associates out of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

While on campus, the counselors’ agenda included breakfast, information sessions and a tour of both the campus and clinic conducted by the Campus Guides. Participants in the event were Donald Gran, M.S. Ed., D.C., Dean of Academic Affairs, Jessica Blumenfeld, Campus Enrollment Director, Vicky Pepin, Admissions representative, and Campus Guides Kris Kondrad and Ida Abraham. Also taking part were Yoma Rodriguez, Angie Cuevas and Juanky Caceres, all current Palmer students from Puerto Rico.
