Palmer’s Florida Clinics lead Toys for Tots drive
Since 1947, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve has collected over 452 million toys for children in need across the United States. Each year the Toys for Tots campaign provides toys to children in our local community. Palmer intern Jeremiah Wright, Student Council representative of Class 132, along with Audra Sylvester, a Palmer Clinic Staff member and an 18-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, have now brought the Toys for Tots campaign to the Palmer Chiropractic Clinic in Florida. Throughout the Clinic are boxes to drop off new unwrapped toys. Toys will be collected through Dec. 21 at the Port Orange Clinic.
“My involvement with Toys for Tots began in 2006," said Ms. Sylvester. "Each year I try to remember those children in need at Christmas time. This year, with the help of Palmer’s Student Council, Toys for Tots will once again be a way to make Christmas just a little better for many children in the local community.”
