'Doctored' the movie: Have you seen it yet?
If you live in the Quad Cities and haven't seen the documentary "Doctored" yet, you will soon have a chance to check it out at your local library. Palmer College and the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress have donated 10 copies of the film to libraries throughout Scott County, including the Davenport and Bettendorf facilities. Talks are also in process to make copies available to the Illinois Quad Cities libraries.
The film is an expose on "the modern medical monopoly," revealing the tactics of Big Pharma and why we've become a "pill-popping" nation. It was written and directed by Bobby Sheehan and produced by Jeff Hays, who was recently named Dynamic Chiropractic's 2012 Person of the Year. LA Times critic Gary Goldstein says, "'Doctored' is an involving, well-crafted look at a topic that stands to affect us all."
Visit your local library and ask if they have "Doctored" on the shelves. If they don't, request it!
