Florida Campus students and President Martin attend Legislative Day
On Monday, April 22, a group of students from Palmer’s Florida Campus joined Campus President Peter Martin, D.C., and representatives from the Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) for a chiropractic legislative day in Tallahassee. The contingent visited with legislators focusing much of their advocacy on the PIP/No-fault auto insurance legislation. In a statement released by the FCA’s Board of Directors, a directive remains to “seek solutions to problems in the PIP re-write legislation while supporting continuance of PIP and advocating a strong position in any bodily injury or other legislation proposed to replace PIP."
The Palmer College representatives also attended a meeting hosted by Senator Dorothy Hukill, Port Orange. Pictured with Senator Hukill are left to right, Michael Munson, Brittany Garcia, Kurt Barnhill, President Peter Martin, D.C., and Caleb Halulko.
