Dr. Bruce Hagen publishes 'Warning! Your Doctor May Be Hazardous to Your Health'
Bruce Hagen, D.C. (Davenport '53), has published a follow-up book to "How to Live to be 100 in Spite of Your Doctor" titled "Warning! Your Doctor May be Hazardous to Your Health." The new book, co-written with Courtney Hagen, shares why Americans rank 50th in longevity and how back surgery is one of the most over-prescribed medical treatments. It also notes that pharmaceutical companies "exert undue influence on researchers" and that Americans use 50% of the world's drugs.
Dr. Hagen has been giving community presentations on how to increase your vitality and longevity. His book as been endorsed by the former CEO of Mayo Clinic and St. Mary's Hospital.
