Look for the Palmer Spine at SV Turkey Trot - Nov. 28
For the fifth year in a row, the Palmer Chiropractic Clinic in San Jose will provide complimentary sports care at the 2013 Silicon Valley Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 28.
Race-day services are available from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Palmer College Sports Council tent (in the IBM Festival Area in Guadalupe Park meadow, adjacent to the starting line).
• Sport-specific injury evaluation
• Chiropractic Adjustments
• Soft-tissue Therapy
Care is provided by Palmer College’s Sports Council team, comprised of doctors of chiropractic, interns and other students who share an interest in enhancing athletic performance and recovery.
Watch for the Palmer Spine, which has become a big part of the SV Turkey Trot tradition, and will provide “the backbone” of the event for the fifth year in a row!
Palmer’s West Campus has also earned “Fittest Firm” honors three of the past four years, for having the greatest amount of participation among companies in the “Small” category (50-100 employees).
If you are planning to participate in the SV Turkey Trot on Nov. 28, don’t forget to bring four canned food items for the “CanDo Challenge” for Second Harvest Food Bank. The collection goal for 2013 is enough food for 20,000 meals.
