Palmer College Lifeguard
 

Function:

The Lifeguards will oversee the open lap swim time at Central High School.

Organizational Relationships:

The managers will report directly to the Athletic and Recreation Coordinator

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance.
    1. Monthly.
      • Cardiovascular equipment
      • lube weight machines
    2. Routine cleaning.
      • make sure staff is following hourly cleaning routines
    3. Report any break down on equipment.
  2. Schedule employees.
    1. Monthly
    2. Over breaks
  3. Assist with employees time sheets monitoring.
    1. To check that employees don’t go over their weekly allotment of hours.
    2. Check with sign in sheets.
  4. Cover for open shifts.
  5. Be available on breaks.
  6. Monitor staff attendance.
  7. Assist in planning of special programs and expansion ideas.

Education, Training and Experience

Must be a certified lifeguard
