Athletic Club Responsibilities and Notes

Requirements to maintain club eligibility-

  • A trimester club report sheet must be filled out every trimester. The report sheet is mailed to the club president at the end of each trimester. The report should be returned to Student Services.
  • Club President must attend the annual meeting of athletic club officers held at the beginning of each trimester.
  • All requested reports and data must be kept up to date.

*Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in the loss of funding and active status for the club.

Budgets and Purchases-

  • Each club is given a set budget for the fiscal year. It is the responsibility of the club president to monitor the balance of their clubs budget.
  • Purchases must be approved by Ron O’Brien. Purchases will be made through his office.

Off campus checking account-

  • The off campus checking account use is at the discretion of club officers. The only members allowed to sign for checks are the club president and Ron O’Brien.
  • The balance will be monitored by Student Services.

X-Rays-

  • Any athlete from one of the clubs can have x-rays taken at the clinic. The athletic insurance will pick up the charges.
  • An X-ray approval form must be picked up in Ron O’Brien’s office and completely filled out before charges will be waived for the student.
