General Club Questions

Who Can Join?

Club sports are organized by students; however, membership is open to the entire Palmer Community. Palmer Faculty, Staff, and immediate family members are welcome to join or coach a club as long as students comprise the majority of the club's membership.  People from the community are also welcome to participate in a club.

Do I Have To Tryout?

No! Each Club Sport is open to all participants, regardless of skill, ability, or experience. Club sports are not allowed to hold tryouts or "cut players" from the club.

How Do I Contact A Club I Am Interested In Joining?

A current contact person for each club is listed under each club. Just email or call that person and they will assist you in becoming a member of that club.

Where Do Club Sports Meet?

With such a variety of clubs, practices are held in several different locations.  Contact the club president to find out the current location.

How Much Does It Cost?

The membership of each club sport determines whether membership dues will be assessed; and if so, how much they will be.

How Do I Start A New Club?

To start a new club or re-activate an inactive club, stop by Student Services or contact Ron O'Brien to find out how easy it is.
