The CSLD has moved to a larger newer space in the Student Union, come and check us out!

Student Council teams up with Counseling Services to enhance academic support resources for students.!!!

The new space began with Student Council orchestrating the construction of small group study rooms, something students have expressed the need for.  When these rooms were completed, Student Council asked Counseling Services to support and staff the area.  Counseling Services is happy to work with Student Council and make this new, enhanced area an added benefit for students.  This study area is located on the first floor of the Student Union in the Campus Services Building.  This space is maintained as a group quiet study area.  This study area is located on the first floor of the Student Union in the Campus Services Building.  This space is maintained as a group quiet study area.  The following resources are available to all students in the CSLD:

• large color anatomical posters
• full disarticulated spine
• full articulated spine
• brain model
• Serena--female articulated skeleton
• Primal Pictures interactive anatomical software program
• video collection covering topics related to enhancing personal wellness
• "Level Seven" Sanctuary for peace, rest and relaxation
• 4' x 6' white boards and markers
• Veriflex HappyLite (full spectrum light)

CSLD Quiet Study Assistants are available during hours posted in the CSLD. The bone collection, videos and Primal Pictures may be checked out from the assistants for use in the CSLD with a Palmer student ID. The quiet study space is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Fridays, and  11:10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
