The Marketing & Communication Department has produced a number of new videos, including the "Change Lives. Be a Chiropractor" video featuring Palmer alumni, and the "Palmer Momentum—Pass it on!" and "Today and Tomorrow" videos supporting the Investing in a Healthier Tomorrow capital campaign.

Construction began in summer 2016 on several Davenport campus projects supported by the Investing in a Healthier Tomorrow capital campaign. These include the northwest campus gateway renovations, transforming the Alumni Auditorium into the R. Richard Bittner Athletic & Recreation Center, and enhancing the Clinic Garden.

A bronze statue of Vickie Anne Palmer was dedicated during a special event, honoring her work as "The Refiner" of chiropractic. The event was held Feb. 26, 2016, during the Florida campus Homecoming. Ms. Palmer and Board of Trustees Chairman Trevor Ireland, D.C., are pictured with the statue following the dedication.

West campus rooftop solar panels

The West campus made a major adjustment in its primary source of energy by installing rooftop solar panels from SilRay, Inc., an award-winning leader in the field of solar technology. The conversion to solar as the campus' primary source of power began in May.

In response to an increasing number of interns entering the West campus clinic, six new treatment rooms, two offices and two full-time clinicians were added. Additionally, patient visits increased by 18.5 percent in FY 2015-16.
