The Marketing & Communication Department began a
complete refresh of the College website
look and content in November 2016, the first phase was completed in July 2017.
The process began with qualitative and quantitative research with all Palmer
stakeholders. Marketing & Communication Department staff partnered with Mindfire
Communications of LeClaire, Iowa, to complete the research, refresh the College
brand and create a new look and feel for the home page, Admissions and Academics
sections of the website—focusing on prospective students. Content for the remaining
website sections is now being updated by the Marketing & Communication Department team.
At the end of February 2017, all students and employees on the Davenport campus began using
ID badges to enter external campus doors.
Guests sign in and receive a visitor badge in the Welcome Center before being
escorted to their destination. Similar ID badge and security measures have been implemented
on the Florida and West campuses to enhance student and employee safety.
Patients at Palmer Chiropractic Clinics in all campus communities can view MPA Media’s GoChiroTV health and wellness information on clinic lobby monitors. GoChiroTV was installed in June 2017 thanks to a generous donation from MPA Media.
A Davenport campus employee committee organized the first
Be Happy, Be Healthy, Be Palmer wellness fair
in April 2017 in the World of Chiropractic Court on campus. More than
25 vendors displayed products and services in a variety of wellness areas.
