(from the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Educational Conference) Maruti Ram Gudavalli, Ph.D., of the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research, was awarded a $1,000 prize for his manuscript, "Instantaneous rate of loading during manual high velocity low amplitude spinal manipulations."

Prize-winning submissions for the 2013 Association of Chiropractic Colleges Educational Conference National Board of Chiropractic Examiners award were selected on the basis of quality, order of evidence, scientific foundation, format and writing style. This award winning submission has been selected for submission to the  Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics
