Andrea Manderscheid

Andrea grew up just outside of the Quad Cities in DeWitt, Iowa. She received her Associates of Arts degree from Scott Community College and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Marketing.

"I am honored to be a part of the Palmer family and excited to be working with students to help them achieve their dreams of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic," says Andrea.

Paula Rummels

Paula comes from Rock Island, Ill. She joined Palmer in 2014. With an Associate of Art Degree from Black Hawk College, Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale and Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Ill., Paula comes to Palmer with over five years of experience in higher education recruitment.

"It is a joy to meet, guide and assist students with their educational goals and to see them graduate, be successful and fulfilled in their career is even a greater joy."

Anthony Schumacher portrait

Anthony Schumacher

Anthony came to Palmer in 2007 and has been helping domestic and international students achieve their dreams of becoming a chiropractor ever since. Anthony graduated from Loras College with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management.

"The curriculum at Palmer prepares students to make a difference in the communities they serve."

His territory covers California, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Washington, D.C., and all countries outside the United States.

Cordie Darden portrait

Cordie Darden

Cordie was born and raised in Georgia. She received her education at Valdosta State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication with an emphasis in public relations and her Master of Public Administration degree. Cordie enjoys working in higher education and has previously worked for college admissions in South Georgia.

"I love the atmosphere here at Palmer, and I am excited to help students achieve their goals."

Ben Hucker

Ben, a Chicago native, received his education at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts with a double major in secondary education and history. He also worked as an EMT on an ambulance in Chicago for several years while completing his degree. After graduating, Ben taught high school history/social studies in Chicago before moving into college admissions.

"I have a passion for both education and the health care field, and I understand the profound impact each can have on a person’s life. I love helping students join the Palmer family, so they can go out into the world and help others."

Ben assists Puerto Rican and U.S. students.

Sue Buro

Sue is originally from Northeast Pennsylvania. She received her education from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and Physical Science. Sue came to Palmer in 2011, and loves assisting students as they fulfill their goals to become Doctors of Chiropractic.

Shannon Richtr

Shannon was born and raised in Rockton, Illinois. She received her undergraduate degree from Lake Forest College, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication. She lived for 6 years in the Czech Republic where she went on to receive her Masters of Business and Administration with an emphasis in Global Marketing from the City University of Seattle. Shannon loves working with students in higher education and previously worked for a student cultural exchange company in Admissions. 

“Working at Palmer allows me to have one-on-one contact with students; assisting them in fulfilling their dreams and impacting others through chiropractic is the best part of my job.”

Teresa is the lead Admissions representative at Palmer's West Campus.

Amy Givens portrait

Amy Givens

Amy is a Bay Area native. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Menlo College in Atherton, Calif. She continued her studies, earning a Master of Science degree in education with an emphasis in special education from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Ore.

Amy has worked in the field of education for more than 20 years. She has a passion for education and loves working with students and their families. Before joining Palmer in 2015, she worked in higher education for a private, for-profit program.

Brianne Robles

Brianne Robles

Brianne is a San Jose native who joined Palmer in 2017. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from San Jose State University (SJSU).

Brianne has more than 15 years of experience in the education field, including positions with several private universities, where she honed her knowledge of the needs and desires of today’s student.

“Working at Palmer gives me the opportunity to provide guidance to exceptionally bright-and-driven students,” says Brianne, who enjoys volunteering at her children’s school, and attending sporting events and concerts. 

“I am energized by our students’ enthusiasm for the chiropractic field, and their confidence that they will make a difference in their community. The daily interaction I have with the Palmer students is a pleasure — and so is working with a phenomenal Admissions team, who are equally dedicated to student-success.”

The CER team promotes the chiropractic profession and the value of a Palmer education nationwide. This is accomplished through outreach events, alumni engagement and other enrollment initiatives.
