Date: Fall Term in Davenport
Have you ever been asked, “What are your greatest strengths”, or “What are your greatest weaknesses”?
Gallup research shows that your greatest chance for success is to improve on your strengths. Weakness fixing can prevent failure, but strengths building leads to success. Research demonstrates that when several people perform the best in the same role, they deliver great results using different behaviors. Each one plays to their natural talents and strengths and performs the activity in a way that works for them.
Enrollment is limited to the first 40 students who RSVP. Unlock your potential. Discover your strengths when you take the Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment. It is free with your commitment to attend the full event. RSVP ends at noon 3 days before the event.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, you will be interacting with people in all aspects of your business. To connect with patients, to provide clarity in the workplace, to be an influencer in your community, it is essential to know what motivates people. To understand others, you must first understand yourself. The Clifton StrengthsFinder can help you. This assessment measures the presence of natural talent. You will find your best success by developing your top five themes. Those talents become strengths when they are nurtured in a positive direction.
Strengths is a change in perspective, an approach that focuses on what’s right with people, not what’s wrong. People who focus on using their strengths are three times as likely to report having an excellent quality of life and six times as likely to be engaged in their jobs. Higher engagement results in higher productivity which leads to higher profitability. Would you like your chiropractic clinic to flourish?
Over the past few decades, Gallup has studied how talent can be applied in a wide variety of roles, from housekeepers to chief executives and from clergy to government officials. You can apply the concepts of Strengths in a healthcare setting, whether you are an associate, lead doctor, or support staff. And Gallup’s research has shown that a strengths-based approach improves your confidence, direction, hope, and kindness toward others. So in turn, your patients and community benefit from the strengths culture of your clinic.
Palmer College is offering a business module that incorporates the concepts of Strengths-based development as it applies to your future as a healthcare provider and business person. The conversation will include self-discovery, recognizing talents in others, and working more effectively with others. Strengths principles found in The E-Myth Chiropractor and Good to Great will be interwoven.

"I am so grateful for the Strengths coaching I received at Palmer. Between school and extracurricular activities, it's rare to take a moment for self-reflection. The Strength coaching gave me valuable insight on what my strengths really were and how to capitalize on them. It also helped me recognize strengths within my peers and co-workers. I would highly recommend this workshop if it is available to you!"
