Dr. Douglas Hughes Jr., ’77, was awarded a 2016 Presidential Pillar Award from the South Carolina Chiropractic Association (SCCA). Dr. James Loftus, ’80, Seneca, S.C., completed his first fulldistance Iron Man competition in October 2016 in Wilmington, N.C. The full-distance Iron Man competition includes a 2.4- mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and a 26.2-mile run. He’s already training for next year’s competition.
