Palmer’s Florida Campus and Clinic recently sponsored and participated in the PGA Tour MS150 Bike Tour to benefit those with multiple sclerosis. The ride took place over a 160- mile course from Daytona Beach to St. Augustine, Fla., on Sept. 29 and 30. Palmer’s 30-member team of students and faculty helped raise more than $14,000 for the event. All funds raised help people with MS in central Florida. Among the members of the Palmer team was a student who herself has multiple sclerosis.

In the weeks prior to the race, Florida Campus students Keith Johnston and Jeff Farrah conducted seminars on topics such as chiropractic and cycling, core strength training and nutrition. The Clinic also provided information and spinal screenings at the start and finish of the race.
