Palmer’s Florida Campus graduated its eighth class on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at the News-Journal Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Forty-three students received their Doctor of Chiropractic degrees during the graduation convocation, which featured a commencement address by Florida Campus Instructor John Lockenour, D.C., DABCO.

The class valedictorian was Holly Elizabeth Smith, and the salutatorian was Brian C. Healy, Palm Harbor, Fla. The Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award was presented to Nathaniel Enoch Cox, Lake City, Fla.; and the Clinical Excellence Award was presented to Mark James Springer, Port Orange. Research Honors went to Michael David Sittler, Naples, Fla.
