Palmer West student inspired by personal experience

Rami Shnoudi, Palmer West student, smiling and wearing Palmer bow tie. Coming to Palmer West was a no brainer for 2nd quarter student, Rami Shnoudi.

“I chose Palmer because Palmer’s mission statement aligned perfectly with me. I hope to continue to work in my community and continue to research alternative ways to ultimately give patients a better quality of life.”

Rami decided he wanted to become a chiropractor when he learned that his younger cousin was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Alongside his cousin he was “able to experience firsthand that integrating a more chiropractic approach helped slow down the degenerative process.”

Now on his journey to becoming a doctor of chiropractic, Rami is making good use of his time outside of his studies. “I decided to become a campus guide to help incoming students navigate their way through the program and help make their transition smoother.”

Palmer West campus guides were some of the first people he met when he visited Palmer and they had a great impact on Rami. “Campus guides helped me tremendously. I was able to ask them all my questions and they made me feel at ease. I hope to be a helping hand to incoming students and help make an impact.”
