Dr. Mark Williams is on the cutting edge of integrative health care at Rosen Medical Center, established by Rosen Hotels and Resorts in Orlando, Florida. The self-insured, company-managed, on-site medical center was founded 25 years ago by central Florida hotelier Harris Rosen.
The RSNA awards committee presented 28 Magna Cum Laude awards, 67 Cum Laude awards, and 302 Certificate of Merit awards, of which Dr. Skalski received five.
Terry Schroeder, D.C. (West, ’86), scored numerous goals during the course of a Hall of Fame career in which he was selected to four U.S. Olympic water-polo teams as a player (’80, ’84, ’88 and ’92), and participated in two other Olympics as a coach (’08 and ’12).
Dr. Schroeder’s experiences during the course of qualifying and training for four Olympic games as a player, and, more recently, preparing for two Olympics as a coach, have taught him multiple life-lessons that have impacted him well beyond his athletic endeavors. He says he applies them every day, whether with patients in his practice or the players that he coaches.
Naomi Ndungu, R.N., wanted more from her career than her R.N. degree provided, so she explored chiropractic schools and realized that a D.C. degree would give her the ability to address the sources of disease, rather than just manage the symptoms of disease. Her dream is to go back to Kenya and establish a pediatric chiropractic practice.
Sherri LaShomb, D.C., ATC, CCSP®, ICCSP, provided chiropractic care at the U.S. Track & Field Olympic Trials in 2008 and 2012, the 2002 Winter Olympic Games and the 1996 Summer Olympic Games before heading to the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
