Each year, Palmer College of Chiropractic awards approximately $4 million in scholarships – many of which are specifically designed for incoming students.

Main Campus Scholarships for Incoming Students
Students are automatically considered for scholarships upon application for admission to the College’s Main campus. If you have any questions please contact our Admissions team.
Fountainhead Award for Academic Achievement (Palmer Main Campus only)
Palmer students are driven. They take education seriously, and so do we. We think it’s important to recognize outstanding academic achievement. That’s why we developed the Fountainhead Award for Academic Achievement.
The Fountainhead Award is a special renewable scholarship open to all incoming Palmer students who achieved a 3.50 or higher GPA as an undergraduate. The scholarships are awarded to incoming Doctor of Chiropractic students enrolling full-time. Recipients must maintain a 2.75 in-program GPA to renew the award each term.
There are two levels:
- $15,000 ($1,500 per trimester) – 3.75-4.0 cumulative GPA
- $10,000 ($1,000 per trimester) – 3.50-3.74 cumulative GPA
Merit Scholarships
An award for incoming, full-time students demonstrating academic achievement in their undergraduate studies. The award is for the student’s first term of enrollment and isn’t renewable.
- Dean Award – Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.25-3.49
- Wyvern Award – Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0-3.24
Legacy Scholarship ($1,000)
A scholarship for incoming, full-time students who are the relative of a Palmer alumnus. The award is for the student’s first academic term and isn’t renewable.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship ($1,000)
A scholarship for incoming, full-time students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society.
Palmer Florida Scholarships for Incoming Students
Scholarships are available on a limited basis. Students must complete the Scholarship Application for consideration. If you have any questions please contact our Admissions team.
Merit Scholarships
An award for incoming, full-time students demonstrating academic achievement in their undergraduate studies. The award is for the student’s first term of enrollment and isn’t renewable.
- Chancellor Award – Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.75-4.0
- Provost Award – Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.5-3.74
- Dean Award – Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.25-3.49
- Wyvern Award – Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0-3.24
Legacy Scholarship ($1,000)
A scholarship for incoming, full-time students who are the relative of a Palmer alumnus. The award is for the student’s first academic term and isn’t renewable.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship ($1,000)
A scholarship for incoming, full-time students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society.
Current Student Scholarships
Palmer has more than 180 donor-designated scholarships for current students with awards ranging from $500 up to a full term’s tuition! To view all the available scholarships and award criteria, visit Palmer’s Scholarship Portal. Students can log in with the Palmer ID and password. Opportunities to apply will be made available in August and January.

Outside scholarship checks should be sent no later than 30 days prior to the start of the term for timely processing. Please ensure the student’s name and appropriate campus is on the correspondence. If there are questions about the Outside Scholarship Process, please call the Office of Financial Planning at 563-884-5740 or email scholarships@palmer.edu.
