Students at Palmer College have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extramural recreational clubs and teams. Some clubs also offer students the opportunity to hold a leadership position. Whether you’re interested in just being social and staying in shape, or competing in collegiate tournaments, we have something for you.

Extramural Clubs and Teams
Palmer’s Main Campus is located in a true Midwest setting with all four seasons. Extramural Sports Club vary by the season and often compete in collegiate tournaments throughout the Midwest. Extramurals may include:

- Men’s and Women’s Rugby
- Volleyball
- Soccer
Recreational clubs and teams don’t compete and may meet all year long. Recreational clubs that have been active on the Main campus include:

- Dek Hockey
Intramural Sports
Student Services sponsors several intramural events that provide a variety of opportunities to participate in different sporting activities. Intramural leagues are free to all Palmer students, faculty, staff and their immediate family members.

Palmer Florida
Intramural Sports
Student Services sponsors intramural sports throughout the year, typically one sport per academic term. Each academic cohort puts together their team and competes against other cohorts for a friendly, but fierce, competition! Student Services partners with the city of Port Orange to secure field and/or gym space. Examples of sports include basketball, bowling, dodgeball, flag football, soccer, softball, volleyball and more. For more information contact Student Services at 386-763-2724.

Palmer Rugby at the Main Campus
Palmer Rugby is a long-standing tradition at Palmer College’s Main Campus. For the past 60 years, men’s and women’s teams have traveled, competed and evolved through their mission to “spread the word of Chiropractic through athletic excellence.”
