Message from the Chancellor and CEO
Dear Colleagues and Friends:
It’s my honor to serve as chancellor and CEO of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Over its more than 128-year history, the Palmer community has grown from our founder to an organization of thousands of students, more than 400 employees, tens of thousands of alumni, and millions of patients and friends.
Our College mission is connected to, advanced by, and dependent on the engagement, social connections, and creative ideas of our entire College community. As pioneers of the profession, we are the premier destination for specialized chiropractic education, working together to push boundaries and positively impact individual wellness and quality of life. We succeed in this by providing an engaging, safe, secure, open and inclusive environment for our students, patients, employees, alumni and friends of the College. We strive to connect with and support one another in meaningful ways to serve each other as a positive influence in our mutual growth and development.
Most importantly, an intentional focus on shared values and mutual support at all levels provides our key stakeholders, our students, with a richer, more transformational educational experience. It prepares them to succeed professionally in the service to others in their role as healthcare providers working in a diverse, globally connected world.
As part of the College’s on-going commitment to continuous improvement, the Board of Trustees and administration are updating and expanding the College’s strategic plan to include more initiatives aimed at deepening our collective sense of belonging at Palmer College. My office is leading this important planning initiative with strong collaboration from all areas of the College, especially Student Services, Academic Affairs and Human Resources. Ultimately, the full realization of our goals can only be realized through the collective efforts of us all.
Dennis Marchiori, D.C., Ph.D.
