While he was studying medicine, Dr. Fadahunsi became friends with a chiropractor who noticed his inability to sit still one day and that was the day he knew he needed to change his career path.

“My friend had me lay on a park bench and did what turned out to be an adjustment, which was life-changing. After that moment, I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor.”

Dr. Fadahunsi began his journey at Palmer West after attending Palmerpalooza in 2012.

“From the moment I attended Palmerpalooza in 2012, I could tell that Palmer was truly interested in growing the profession and it was the best fit for me. I’m grateful to Palmer for providing me the tools to share and grow the profession in such a meaningful way.”

Since graduation, Dr. Fadahunsi returned to his home state of Texas and in 2018 he went into solo practice at his clinic, Lone Star Neck and Back Clinic. When his clinic opened, he was building a promising practice until COVID-19 happened and was forced to think outside the box for his clinic’s future success.

“Fortunately, COVID forced me to think outside the box and I was able to convert my practice into a mobile clinic. The majority of my patients stayed with me since they had already become familiar with my services. Leaving the bricks and mortar behind has also given me the opportunity to practice as a Worker’s Compensation Designated Doctor for the State of Texas, which entails a lot of traveling and has become roughly eighty percent of my practice, in just over one year.”

Dr. Fadahunsi shares a little advice for current students.

“Learn as much as you can and spend as much time shadowing as you can to create your own approach to chiropractic.”

Palmer College of Chiropractic is the first and largest chiropractic college. More chiropractors have graduated from Palmer than any other chiropractic institution. Interested in learning more about attending Palmer College? Visit palmer.edu.
