DoD/VA Student Rotation Program

Palmer’s Department of Defense/Veteran’s Affair’s (DoD/VA) student rotation opportunities give students the opportunity to serve our nation’s military members and veterans while gaining valuable clinical experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.

These rotations are available to senior-level students on all Palmer campuses.

What you’ll do

Palmer students work with staff chiropractors in a Department of Defense or Veterans Affairs hospital or clinic, providing care to veterans and military personnel.

You’ll learn how doctors of chiropractic work with medical professionals across many disciplines, for the benefit of the patient. Depending on the location, interns may rotate among other departments with the opportunity to observe procedures and interact with medical interns and residents.
