Palmer West faculty member Matthew Skalski, D.C. loves everything about his job.

Dr. Skalski became a chiropractor because “I’ve always loved the health-care field, but after working in a hospital for a number of years and simultaneously having great experiences with chiropractic, I decided that caring for people on the wellness end of the health-care spectrum using non-pharmacologic methods was a better fit for me.”

While Dr. Skalski was completing his chiropractic education, he discovered a love for radiology, which pushed him on an alternate path as he found the challenge of advanced diagnostics enthralling. “I came to Palmer to teach after discovering a love for education through my residency training and wanted to continue sharing my passion for radiology with others.”

He urges students to “follow your passions – anything you’re passionate about will make you happy, and that energy will be felt by everyone around you.”
