Honoring a Legacy: Celebrating Dr. Randazzo’s Career at Palmer Florida

When you’re a patient at Palmer Clinics, your student intern, along with a team of more than 20 Doctors of Chiropractic, will provide you with the best chiropractic care tailored to your specific needs and health goals.

Since its inception, the Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida Campus has been shaped by exceptional educators and clinicians. For over two decades, Jay Randazzo, D.C. has served as a fixture of the Palmer Florida Clinic—not only as an educator, but as a dedicated Doctor of Chiropractic providing compassionate, high-quality care to countless patients in the community.

Now, he looks ahead to his next milestone — retirement.

Through his dedicated mentorship, Dr. Randazzo sets an inspiring example for all of his student interns, showing them firsthand how leadership, empathy, and a curious mind can make you a great chiropractor. As a faculty clinician, he guides students through the pivotal transition from the classroom to the clinic, overseeing their care as they treat their very first patients and preparing them to step into practice with confidence, skill, and integrity. His profound impact was highlighted most recently when the student body voted to award him the 2026 Clinician of the Year, a well-deserved testament to his devotion to their growth and success.

His passion for the profession shines through in everything he does, bringing vibrant energy, clinical wisdom, and a genuine love for teaching to the Clinic every single day. When reflecting on his love for the job and what has kept him so energized over the years, Dr. Randazzo shared:

“The best part of being with students is everything is new for them, and their excitement and thirst for knowledge just make them very much alive coming into the clinic and I feed off of that.”

For Dr. Randazzo, becoming the best chiropractor you can be isn’t overly complicated. He regularly reminds his interns that doing your best for your patients always comes down to three essentials:

“Three main components of being a good chiropractor is to have good hands, a good heart, and a good brain.”

A Message from Leadership

“Dr. Randazzo has been a part of the Palmer Florida clinic since the beginning. Over the years, he has mentored countless student interns and touched so many lives through his dedication to teaching. It’s safe to say he is one of the most beloved faculty members among our alumni. We will miss his energy and all that he brings as a teacher, colleague and most importantly, a friend. While he will be missed, I couldn’t be happier for him as he begins this well-earned retirement. He has truly earned it!”

On Inspiration and Positive Energy
“I can’t emphasize how grateful I am to have been able to learn from Dr. Randazzo during my time in student clinic. He truly cared about all of his interns and helped push us to become the confident clinicians we are today. Doc’s passion for the chiropractic profession was reflected in how he showed up day in and day out for his patients and interns—always with a smile on his face and a joke to crack. Dr. Randazzo will be greatly missed around Palmer, and I am wishing him all the best in his retirement!”

On Compassion and Mentorship
“Dr. Randazzo has been nothing but a pillar to my education and development as a chiropractor. His dedication to growing not only my skills as a practitioner, but a chiropractor who listens and cares cannot be overstated. He has taught me not only technique but also that humor, compassion, and understanding can help further a person’s efforts into achieving true wellness. He pours into every student he mentors and is a continuing inspiration to me.”

— Daniel Yang, Student Intern

On Empowerment and Professionalism
“Dr. Randazzo always had so much faith in our knowledge and abilities as students. Whenever we needed his guidance or expertise, he would ask thoughtful questions that encouraged us to think more critically about our patients and how we could best help them. He never held our hands through clinic; instead, he treated us like doctors and trusted our clinical judgment and professional opinions.

Doc always kept the spirits in the mod high, whether he was cracking a joke or working with us to solve the daily contexto puzzle. With Dr. Randazzo, it never felt like a bad day in clinic. His passion for chiropractic and genuine love for his students were evident in everything he did.

We’ll miss seeing him every day, but we couldn’t be happier for him as he begins this next chapter and enjoys a well-deserved retirement!”
