Katherine Clark, D.C. portraitMeet Katie Clark, D.C., Faculty Clinician at Palmer Clinics. Dr. Clark graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2010.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC?
Dr. Clark always knew she wanted to work in health care and explored many specialty fields. A pivotal moment occurred when she shadowed a Doctor of Chiropractic and witnessed a patient regain shoulder mobility after weeks of discomfort. The joy and relief expressed by the patient and their family left a lasting impression on her. Having been immersed in chiropractic care throughout her upbringing, Dr. Clark felt a deep connection to the profession, leading her to embrace it as a way to positively impact others’ lives.

WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR PATIENTS?
It’s an honor and a responsibility to keep moving our bodies and be able to do the things we love for as long as we want to do them.

WHAT IS YOUR #1 ADVICE FOR STUDENT INTERNS?
Be a sponge. Absorb all the information around you, whether from peers or colleagues. Always ask why, listen actively, and stay curious. Strive to improve every day and never settle for yesterday’s achievements.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING A DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC?
Building personal connections with both patients and students. I love engaging directly with patients, seeing their excitement when they arrive, and ensuring they feel satisfied when they leave.

Dr. Clark practices the Palmer package with advanced training in athletics, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
