Portrait of Callyn Dittmar, B.A., D.C.Meet Callyn Dittmar, D.C., CCSP® one of our Faculty Clinicians at Palmer Clinics. Dr. Dittmar attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 2008. She’s also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner.

WHY DID YOU BECOME A DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC?:
I was always interested in health and exercise. During my senior year of college I decided to be a chiropractor. Amidst many options of pursing this passion, I saw that chiropractic was the best path to fit my personal philosophy of helping people stay healthy and avoid preventable injuries.

WHAT IS YOUR ADVICE FOR PATIENTS?:
We are the one-stop-shop for patients at Palmer Clinics. Anything they need, we have to offer. They can also expect to be cared for holistically. Our doctors and interns take into account everything–nutrition, lifestyle, and how to achieve their specific goals.

WHAT IS YOUR #1 ADVICE FOR STUDENT INTERNS?:
Understand that the clinics are your residency, and this time is about gaining experience. This is where we take all you’ve learned and where we put that into practice to make you a doctor. Take this time seriously and use this time to get to know what works and what doesn’t for you and to understand your goals for after graduation.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING A CHIROPRACTOR?:
The most rewarding part of being a chiropractor is helping patients achieve their health goals so they can live fuller, healthier lives.

Dr. Dittmar practices Palmer-specific techniques, Flexion-Distraction, Activator, Webster Certified, and extremity adjusting.
