Palmer’s West campus occupies one building in north San
Jose, Calif., the most rapidly developing region of the Silicon Valley.
The West campus has been designed to provide convenient
access to all classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, library, fitness
center and the outpatient clinic. The campus, which is powered in part by solar energy, is known for its excellent sports-chiropractic program and has a focus on chiropractic research.
The Bay Area is a culturally diverse region that provides
a great place for students to live and learn. Popular destinations such as
Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Big Basin, Big Sur, the Monterey peninsula, and Napa
Valley are within driving distance for weekend excursions and recreational outings. The area offers a year-round mild climate, and many beautiful areas nearby are just some of the perks to studying at Palmer’s West campus. Plus, two Light Rail transfer-stations in close proximity to the campus provide students, faculty and staff with convenient access to the 42-mile Santa Clara county Light Rail System, so getting around is easy.
One of the premier features of the West campus is its excellence in the field of sports-chiropractic, including its Sports Council program, which provides unique opportunities for students to refine their sports-chiropractic skills through on-field care provided at year-round events. Through the experience and networking gained from participating in the Sports Council, West campus students have gone on to provide chiropractic care to professional, collegiate, and Olympic athletes.
