2019 Fellow: Leonard Feldman, D.C.

2019 Palmer Academy of Fellows Inductee: Leonard Feldman, D.C.

Three men in suits holding a Fellows certificateDr. Feldman, D.C. (Main, ’63) graduated from the main campus in Davenport, Iowa, in 1963 and set up his chiropractic clinic in Brooklyn, New York. But a visit from a supply salesman changed the course of his career. The salesman asked for his opinion on an orthopedic pillow and Dr. Feldman used his chiropractic knowledge and patient experience to redesign it. He became known as the “pillow king” and eventually turned a small business into ProFoot, now a foot-care product giant.

Twenty-eight years later, Dr. Feldman’s passion for solving problems and caring for patients extends far beyond business ventures. He generously supports students at Palmer College through his advocacy of chiropractic and his funding of initiatives, including some through Palmer’s Center for Business Development. Dr. Feldman is a proud leader in the Palmer Annual Giving Society at the Founder’s Circle Gold level.
