AAFP CONDITIONS A TO Z
Handy patient information describing common conditions, medical diseases, treatments, and health tips. Many are available in Spanish.

ACADEMIC SEARCH PREMIER
Provides articles covering the health sciences, social sciences, humanities, general sciences, multicultural studies, education and much more.

ALT HEALTHWATCH
Focuses on complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness. Access is provided to over 180 full-text international journals and reports.

ANATOMY.TV – 3D ANATOMY FOR CHIROPRACTIC
An interactive model of spinal anatomy. Zoom, rotate, and view various layers through animation, MRI’s, X-rays and videos.

ARCHIVEGRID
Includes records describing archival materials, bringing together information about historical documents, personal papers, family histories, and more. Researchers can search for primary source materials held in archives, libraries, museums and historical societies.

BIOETHICS RESOURCES ON THE WEB
Provides documents on the ethical, legal, and public policy aspects of health care, the professional-patient relationship, and biomedical research.

CINAHL COMPLETE
Full-text nursing and allied health journals. There are currently 33 chiropractic journals available within CINAHL Complete.

CLINICALTRIALS.GOV
Clinicaltrials.gov has been developed by the U.S. National Institutes of Health through its National Library of Medicine to provide patients, family members and members of the public current information about clinical research studies.

THE COCHRANE LIBRARY
A collection containing different types of evidence-based medicine databases. Includes Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Cochrane Clinical Answers, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and Cochrane Clinical Answers.

DYNAMED
Clinical reference tool primarily intended for point-of-care use. Contains clinically organized summaries for more than 3,200 conditions, pharmaceuticals, and related topics.

EBMCALC
A medical reference and tool set. Includes converters, MathCalc, equation, clinical criteria and decision trees. (Formerly MEDCALC 3000)

ERIC
ERIC is an online resource to education research and information. If available, full-text links are included.

GALE INTERACTIVE: HUMAN ANATOMY
Users can examine virtual 3D dissections and access more than 4,300 structures and over 13,500 identifiable landmarks in the human body.

GPO (CATALOG OF U.S. GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONS)
Search for electronic and print publications from the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the U.S. government.

HISTLINE – HISTORY OF MEDICINE ONLINE
Find print and non-print materials that document the history of medicine, health, and disease in all time periods and cultures.

INDEX TO CHIROPRACTIC LITERATURE (ICL)
Covers 1985-present chiropractic journal literature. It includes several web pages linking free chiropractic research articles, electronic books and patient education handouts. Links to other important chiropractic web sites are also included.

JAMAEVIDENCE
A medical resource helping decision-makers to identify the best available evidence. Includes essential content from Users’ Guides to the Medical Literature: A Manual for Evidence-Based Clinical Practice, 3e, The Rational Clinical Examination: Evidence-Based Clinical Diagnosis, and Care at the Close of Life: Evidence and Experience. Also includes tools such as Education Guides, calculators and self-assessment quizzes.

LIBRARY, INFORMATION SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY ABSTRACTS (EBSCOHOST)
Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more.

MEDLINE COMPLETE
Provides authoritative medical information on all health sciences, including chiropractic, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more.

NATURAL MEDICINES
Authoritative resource on food, herbs & supplements, natural medicines, sports medicine and complementary, alternative and integrative therapies.

OAISTER
OAIster contains digital resources from open access collections in many subjects. Records may contain a link to the digital resource.

OSTMED-DR
Database for osteopathic literature from 1800s-current.

OVID JOURNALS
Large database of scientific and medical research. Journals include Neurology (1951 to date), Spine (1976 to date), and Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research (2004 to date).

PEDRO: PHYSIOTHERAPY EVIDENCE DATABASE
Includes randomized trials, systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines in physiotherapy.

PUBMED
Citations in PubMed stem from the biomedicine and health fields, and related disciplines such as life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences, and bioengineering.

REHABILITATION REFERENCE CENTER
A clinical tool designed for use by rehabilitation clinicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists at the point of care.

SCIENCEDIRECT
Medical, scientific and medical research articles. Palmer has access to 49 of the journal titles. A green tablet icon next to the article indicates access is available for the library.

SPORTDISCUS
Providing hundreds of full-text sports medicine journals, it is an essential tool for health professionals and researchers studying fitness, health and sports.

STEDMAN’S MEDICAL DICTIONARY
Successor to the first American medical dictionary. This edition has been thoroughly reviewed and updated to make this dictionary a reliable resource. This new edition includes more than 107,000 terms.

TURNING RESEARCH INTO PRACTICE (TRIP)
A smart, fast tool to find high quality clinical research evidence. Content types include images, videos, patient information leaflets, educational courses and news.

WILEY ONLINE LIBRARY
Multidisciplinary article database. Palmer subscribes to the entire journal collection.
